Christ Church and St John

Welcome

We are a Church of England parish in the Diocese of Southwark situated on the borders of Clapham and Stockwell.

We have two churches in our parish.

Christ Church is the worshipping heart of the parish and can be found in Union Grove, near the Springfield Estate, just off Wandsworth Road and on the edge of Larkhall Park, near Clapham Police Station.

St John the Evangelist, the centre of much community work, is located on the Clapham Road, not far from Clapham North Station.

We are a very friendly parish and you will receive a warm welcome in both our churches. We reflect the unconditional love Christ showed to us by being a caring and inclusive church which reflects the vibrancy, variety and creativity of the community surrounding it. Our congregation is made of people from many different nationalities and backgrounds.
