Worship

Worship in our parish is focussed on the Eucharist, when our community gathers together around the altar to celebrate and remember Jesus’ life and what he did for us. The style of our worship is relaxed and full of ritual and ceremony

The week’s main act of worship is the Parish Eucharist at Christ Church on Sunday mornings. This is a more formal service with readings, hymns, songs and a sermon. Celebrations of the Eucharist during the week are more meditative in style.

Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer are an opportunity to give thanks to God and to frame each day in a thoughtful and prayerful manner.

At Christ Church

  • Sundays 10.15am Morning Prayer
  • 11.00am Parish Eucharist
  • Monday-Thursday 7.00am Morning Prayer
  • 5.30pm Evening Prayer

At St John’s

  • Last Sunday in the Month 9.30am Eucharist
  • Wednesdays 9.00am Eucharist
