Holy Week and Easter at Christ Church
Palm Sunday – Sunday 29th March
Meet in church at 10.00.a.m. so that we are ready to walk around the parish, led by a donkey, with our palm branches. We return to church for the Reading of the Passion and Eucharist.
Monday 30th March 19:30pm Eucharist of Reconciliation followed by compline
Tuesday 31st March 19:30pm Passover Meal in Community Hall
Wednesday 1st April 19:30pm Stations of the Cross followed by compline at Christ Church
Maundy Thursday 2nd April 20:00pm Liturgy of the Day, Last Supper and foot washing followed by prayerful Vigil in Church (Garden of Gethsemane).
Good Friday 3rd April 11:0am Good Friday Liturgy with St. Johns passion.
Holy Saturday 4th April 10:00am Preparation of the Easter Garden
11:00am Preparation and Cleaning of the Church
20:30pm The Easter Vigil – First Mass of Easter
